Fullscreen for details and blahs.

Another art assignment that I had to do in my digital illustration class. We were supposed to choose a mythological person (or creature) and illustrate it however we wanted to, as long as it had some kind of a border. Although I may be off on some of the specifics on details, this is my version of the Greek god of Death, Thanatos. And the wings on his head thing is not my creation, it said so on many of the sites I went to. Also they really didn't specify what an "inverted torch" was, so decided to put my own spin on it and made it a torch of ice. Not 100% satisfied with how this piece came out, but at least I'm happy with how the moon looks. I may do another one of him later on my spare time.

Drawn on illustration board with Micron pens, colored in Photoshop 6 and CS. 2.5 hours drawing (original size was pretty big), 8 hours coloring? Not too sure since I was zoning in and out while working on this.
